Lindsay A. Smith, Project Manager
No firm runs without a project manager, and Lindsay Smith keeps Organized For Discovery, LLC on track. Lindsay implements a project plan with excellence, seeking out interesting workshop venues, anticipating challenges before they come along, keeping projects on budget, finding great bargains/sources for supplies and helping us propose solutions that work well for our clients.
Lindsay has a MS in Rural Sociology from Penn State. She worked for several years as an experiential educator in environmental and outdoor adventure education, and as a high-and low-ropes course team-building facilitator. She also spent two years in Benin, West Africa teaching English as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
Additionally, Lindsay manages the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market and serves on both the Piedmont Grown and Farmer FoodShare Board of Directors. In her free time she is either out running in the woods with her trusty hound-dog Jake, watching college sports, or taking a nap!

Josie L. Murphy-Dono, Office Manager
We have to acknowledge our feline office manager Josie (Leanna’s muted tortoiseshell cat) who is our resident expert in tissue paper, entertaining toys and the importance of naps to keep everything in perspective. She is also very valuable in helping us find documents we are looking for (as she is usually sitting on them!)
